I recently had a rug resized at Khalifa Rugs and the results are amazing. With a downsizing move, we had a larger area rug that was too big for our smaller space. Until I found Khalifa Rugs, I wasn’t even sure this could be done. Well, I picked it up yesterday and it now fits perfectly in our living room. If I didn’t know the rug had been cut and re-serged (stitched along the edges), I’d never realize this rug hadn’t been this size all along. Khalifa Rugs collaborates with very talented craftsmen who have incredible attention to detail, including hand-serging the cut edge to exactly match the original edges. They also did a thorough cleaning and the rug looks brand new. Our rug is a hand-tufted contemporary that I bought at a retail furniture outlet, but I’d trust Khalifa Rugs with even the highest quality hand-woven rug repairs and cleaning. Their LA store also has a beautiful collection of new rugs if you’re in the market to buy. This wasn’t the right timing for us, but I hope to be back in the future. Thanks to Mehdi, Ali and your repair team for ensuring I could keep and use a rug I really liked! It was absolutely worth the more-than-an-hour drive from home to work with you.
